The Spring Black Bear Hunt

The Spring Black Bear Hunt

Our spring Black Bear hunts take place in northern Alberta, where farmland meets seemingly ceaseless forest. The territory comprises a near-perfect Black Bear habitat, allowing prime conditions for bears to reach maturity and producing multiple opportunities for clients to harvest above-average Black Bears. Black bear hunts are offered only in the spring and are baited to give you the best chance at a trophy.

Black Bears in the Peace River Region are typically 6.5+ feet on average, with the larger bears standing 8 feet tall. A hunter looking for an opportunity at a bear with coloring other than black should know that around 15- 25% of bears taken each year will be color-phased.

Archery & Rifle hunts are available, and all hunts are baited.
